We’re Moving!
The last few months have been a whirlwind. David and I decided to jump into the craziness that is the current seller’s market and list our home in Chicagoland. Within 2 days, we had 13 offers and are now closing on our current home 3 weeks from tomorrow. What’s next? A big move to California! We are trading our winter coats for flip-flops and moving to Orange County, CA in June. We are still looking for a rental home but know that God has prepared the perfect home for us. Now it’s all about…purging what we don’t need, selling what we can, and packing up what we want. Then off…

EATS: Beanless Chili
We eat chili all year round in this house, and we eat A LOT of it. It’s such an easy meal to whip up that hits all my desired flavors and textures…and there are a million variations. We switch it up between 4 other types of chili, but this one we return to because it’s super simple. you can switch it up to make it healthier, you could add beans if you want, and you can prep it at nap time but have it ready by dinner! we all love it in this house and it freezes BEAUTIFULLY. what you need 3 pounds of meat (can switch it up between…

Lucky Charms Treats
St. Patrick’s Day is coming up next week and I wanted a quick festive treat to make for the kids. After some searching on Pinterest, I came across Lucky Charms Treats. Basically, it’s a Rice Krispie Treat but you substitute Lucky Charms cereal. Easy, simple, and delicious! I modified the recipe I used from Julie’s Eats and Treats and made it stickier, the way I like it! Grandma Karen and I made these together over Instagram Live and even with our chatter and terrible camera work, the whole thing took less than 20 minutes! See the video below for more step by step instruction. Have you ever had these before?…

I recently tried on some shirts I found at Target that range from $5-15 and there were all winners in their own respects. Check them out below and hurry before they are out of stock! I love this basic t-shirt tee from Target. It has fun puffy sleeves and a cute little knot detail as well. Super soft and lightweight. Easy to dress up or dress down. Wearing it with my favorite Abercrombie high-rise super skinny jeans and dark wash. And you can’t go wrong with Nike court vision sneakers. Shirt:…

CRAFT: Hidden Animal Sensory Activity
Okay….that title is totally misleading. To be clear, I am NOT crafty. You would think I might be since I am a creative; however, when it comes to activities and sensory bins for my toddler, I strongly dislike this type of pursuit. However, desperate times call for desperate measures and I am guessing there are a lot of other parents like me…. you want to do the craft, but you can’t stand it. Well here is any easy one for YOU if you are like me. I’ve formally titled it…Hiding Animals with Rice in a Muffin Tin With a Scoop 🙂 You will need: Rice in a bin/storage container Scoop…

I’ve provided recipes below as well as the videos with how I made them. Enjoy and Happy Valentine’s Day! Italian Cream Soda Sprinkle Rimmed Shirley Temple My, my, my,…
