Get to Know Me: 21 Things You Might Not Know
Happy Friday friends! I was tagged in a post on Instagram to share 21 facts about myself. Being the wordy, chatty gal that I am, I couldn’t squeeze all 21 into the 2,200 character limit that Instagram gives the world. I shared 13 there…but all 21 here! It was weird thinking of things about myself since so much of what I write it about my children, family, and more ‘tip and trick’ based. This was a great exercise in remembering WHO I AM and where I have been…and how do I want the world to see me? Not just as a mama, not just as Holding Moonbeams…but as Hollyce. Okay…

Spring Break – Newport Beach, CA
Spring break has come and gone! It’s a line in the sand for those of us in Chicago – the worst of winter is behind, but we still come home to chilly weather. Maybe 4 weeks left…maybe 6….but usually no more than 8 weeks left. The weather in Chicago is weird. I’ve been here almost 7 years and I’m still not used to it. Somehow I’m shocked when I keep my heavy coat out until May 15th. I wonder if I’ll ever get used to it…as I’m writing right now, it is raining outside and a brisk 37 degrees with a 50% chance of snow in 6 hours. So let’s…

Happy Friday! The weekend is almost here and Easter is this weekend. Anyone else excited for Peter Cottontail to make his way to your house? We don’t have a ton of plans this weekend. It’s been 10 days since we’ve seen the kids as the dates for our 2 spring breaks were different, so I imagine we will have lots of cuddling and catch up time. The weather is a bit chilly, T&E have outgrown Easter egg hunts and Hudson is too little – so we may stay in and save the local egg hunt for next year! I’ve been dying to watch Wonder and Coco; I’d like a movie…
